10 Things You / We can DO to Improve the Vampyre Culture

My mission vision for the VC (Vampyre Culture) is apart of the “Great Work” and it is something which is at the foundations why I wrote the Black Veils Master Vampyre Edition. The my goal is to inspire, challenge and set and example through my businesses including the Endless Night Vampire Ball events. Everyone should strive for personal nobility, everyone should strive empower their own internal King or Queen. I have seen the Vampire Mythos has evolved and we are entering a vampiric age we beyond anything of the past. It is our duty to embrace and take this opportunity, lets not miss the chance.

So here are 10 things which I suggest individuals do to take action to improve Vampyre Culture beyond just partying and spending all day online in Vampire’s “Game of Fangs” politics. I forewarn this Great Work will take focus, hard work, creativity, action and effort.

With so much talk on the concept of improving of the Vampyre Community we must start with Culture. Culture is an important part of evolution of the unity of any community. People talk about Unity, but they don’t know where to truly start is in the individual. Unity is a desire to get along in harmony and the Vampyre is an evolved being, we are the forerunners of many trends and the keepers of lost traditions and ideas. Focus your energy on the beauty and majesty of the vampire archetype.

1. Music - Listen to classics, educate yourself on lyrics or support a band talking about Vampire Culture. Music vibrates and moves the very building blocks of the universe.
2. Dance - Be it ballroom, the waltz, ballet, gothic / industrial, asian geisha dances, etc. are a powerful energetic and creative focus.
3. Martial Arts - can bring forth discipline and focus, provide training for self defense and explore a philosophy of chivalry and honour.
4. Education - The BDSM and Pagan communities have workshops, courses, classes, etc. on a a variety of subjects of interest. Do courses, presentations, classes on Yoga, reiki, Vampire Mythology, Ancient cultures, dance, etc.
5. Write - a book, poem, song or article on a subject to inspire, educate and challenge the modern VC.
6. Gastronomy - eat and drink together, cook, host a dinner party. Food and cooking together at the same table is a powerful cultural tool of unifying the VC. When in another halo explore the local cuisine.
7. Visit / Travel / Explore - YES BE A TOURIST. Get to know the local monuments, food, history, culture, historical and sites of interest. Do it with other local vampires.
8. Communion - Do energy communions together, hold hands, breath and meditate, cleanse, center and ground.
9. Talk - Communication is key, don’t focus on differences, focus on common things of interest like music, food, humour, your favorite TV show or films, etc.
10. Craft - make things, create be it a new corset, pair of fangs, crafted piece of wood or a beautiful painting. Crafting its good for the soul, Current and brings good focused energy.

Permanent Fangs by Eternal Fangs

Many people have asked where Dani Divine and Alley Kat got their permanent fangs. The Eternal Fangs are done by a Dr. Hayk and are perm while the Sabretooth SFX caps are done by Father Sebastiaan.

Are the fangs actually done by a real dentist?
Yes they are installed by Dr. Hayk Arakelyan, DDS with offices at 6333 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048.  What is the difference between these fangs and ones made by a fang smith?
Eternal Fangs are caps permanently glued onto your teeth by a licensed dentist.  Fangs usually made by fangsmiths such as Father Sebastiaan are acrylic caps that click on over your teeth.  A fang smith cannot change your mouth structure or do any permanent work as they are not a licensed dentist.
Are these really permanent?
Yes they are absolutely permanent and will last a lifetime guaranteed by our dentist or you get free replacements.
Do I need to go to LA to get my Eternal Fangs?
Yes, our dental office is located in Beverly Hills and requires you to come to LA and have the teeth done in person.
What are the fangs made of?
The caps are zirconia 3D printed caps made in a professional dental laboratory.
How long does it take?
Usually two days.  One Day for prep and the second for installation.
Do you remove my own teeth?
No they are laminants which cover slightly modified teeth in most cases.
How old do I have to be?
You must be at least legal age of majority at 18 years of age.
How much do they cost?
The price for the basic pair of classic Eternal Fangs is $1200.

As the world grips with the Corona Virus, Italy is hit really hard. One of my dearest Sabretooths Arianna is an event producer, got her Sabretooth fangs in 2012 and Endless Night Muse. She recently became a police officer and when checking on her gave me this letter. She has given permission for me to share with you and our hearts go out to our sorors and fraters in Italy.

Hello my dear,

Thank you for your message. We are surviving. Me and my parents and my friends are all ok and healthy or apparently so it seems: Covid19 is often asymptomatic and we are starting to test only people that have severe symptoms. This is the reason why it’s so dangerous, most of the times we are unconsciously killing weak people like our parents or grandparents and must stay home! We in Italy have been quarantined for weeks now and cases are more than 20.000 but I am sure other countries will find out more because of their late response. But you know... governments have been hiding truths forever... it’s always a matter of priorities and some countries do not care about their people or humans in general. We are being careful and trying to feel united.

Everyday at 6 pm Italians open their windows or go out on their balconies and sing the national anthem, popular Italian songs or just light a torch and say hello to each others making some noise. Children are home since the end of February, because schools and universities were the first to close. They are painting rainbows and writing “Everything will be OK” and hanging the results from their windows along with the Italian flag. Saturday at 12 pm every Italian opened their windows just to give a long heart-touching clap for all the nurses and doctors struggling in hospitals with crazy and dangerous shifts: they will surely go through PSTD once this is over. It’s a war.

How did I coin the term Black Swan?

In 1997 I coined a term called Black Swan for my partner Lucianna at the time. She wanted to participate in the vampire world but didn’t identify as a full Vampire. So I came up with the term which was originally “My Swan” out to respect for her instead of calling her a ghoul or familiar. So here is the Black Veil as presented in the book Black Veils: The Vampire Lexicon.

Black Swans

Within the Veils, “Black Swans” are non-Vampire individuals who are intimately knowledgeable about the Black Veils and are friendly allies to their vampire friends. They are often involved in the Vampire subculture and associated with a Vampire, and can be friends, donors, dayside family members, lovers, or even potential Vampires yet to be awakened. The term Black Swan was coined at the New York City (Gotham Halo) Vampire nightclub Long Black Veil in 1997, for those who would bring their friends, parents, siblings, and lovers to the club.


One misconception within the Vampire World is that all Black Swans are donors. This is certainly very common, but it is not always the case. Many are even lifestyle Vampires who wear fangs, dress up, and know a great deal about the Vampire culture, philosophy, and traditions.. Often Black Swans are practicing the dayside elements of the Vampire lifestyle known as “lifestylers.”

In contrast to Black Swans are “White Swans’ who are against the Vampire lifestyle to varying degrees ranging from very hostile to just annoying.  These individuals can range from a girlfriend, friend, sibling or parent who strongly mocks or dislikes the Vampire lifestyle. They often will say things like, ìWhy are you wearing fangs?î or ìYou are really only living in a fantasy world, so stop it.î

Black Swans are to be treasured by Vampires and are strong allies. Treat them well and with respect, they are not pets but individuals with open minds and often resonate strongly with the Current and Vampire World. Even though the term originated at Long Black Veil it has become used by the Vampire Community throughout the world.
